Place a pound of popcorn kernels in a LARGE microwave proof bowl.
Fill the bowl with water.
Cook on high for 1 ½ hours and add more water each half hour.
Drain, cool and pack in small bags and freeze.
Defrost in hot water and feed.
Place popcorn kernels in slow cooker. Don't use a non-stick cooker.
Fill slow cooker with water.
Cook on low for about 10 hours.
Drain and cool.
